How and when do I change the Truma filter pads?
The new generation Truma gas filter with black housing has an oil separator that filters out oil particles that are carried along with the gas flow as aerosols. The oil particles drip down the oil separator and are picked up by a special filter pad. You must replace this pad with the black Truma gas filter every time you change the cylinder.
The oil separator element only needs to be replaced if it has been mechanically damaged.
